Getting Started

Ranking Maker is a service that lets you create your personal rankings through pairwise comparisons.

Choose a category you're interested in
When two items appear, select the one you prefer
As you continue comparing, your ranking will be automatically generated
Log in to save your rankings and contribute to global rankings

How Rankings Work

We use the ELO rating system to calculate rankings from your comparison results.

Items with more wins rank higher
Beating a strong opponent (higher-ranked item) gives more points
More comparisons lead to more accurate rankings

Features

"Don't Know" Feature

Tap "Don't know" if you're unfamiliar with a work. The skip count is recorded and you'll move on to the next comparison. The work stays in the pool and may appear again later.

"Not Interested" Feature

Tap "Not interested" for works you don't want in your ranking. They won't appear in comparisons anymore, but you can restore them anytime from the ranking page.

Core Fan Club

Users who rank a specific item as #1 and have ranked a certain number of items are certified as 'Core Fans' and can post on exclusive discussion boards.

FAQ

Can I use this without logging in?

Yes, you can make comparisons without logging in. However, your rankings won't be saved and won't contribute to global rankings.

Can I undo a comparison?

Unfortunately, there's no undo feature for comparisons. However, as you make more comparisons, your rankings will naturally become more accurate.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the settings page. Deleting your account will remove all your comparison history and ranking data.
